West Chester, PA: Chester County Park and Recreation Board, 1965. Paperback. Fine. [4], 24 p.: illustrations; 28 cm. Orange card covers with black comb binding; black cover title and illustration. Text by Wayne Morris and photographs by Eugene L. DiOrio. First published in the Coatesville Record. Col. Franklin Swayne (d. 1924), a real estate lawyer from Philadelphia, purchased the former Hibernia Iron Works property in Chester County, Pa., in 1894. Under his ownership, it evolved into a gentleman's country estate. His heir sold the estate to Chester County in 1963. In Fine Condition: clean and solid.
