Index. Twenty-four photogravure plates. Bush was known for his BBC series of broadcasts on London's history and his descriptions and the current events of the time. From the flap, "Portrait of London sets out to tell the stories that lie hidden by modern bricks and mortar, to describe the heritage, often overlooked, that belongs to the streets and buildings of to-day..." A very nice copy, with slight edge tone. The dust jacket is chipped. No in a clear protective, removable cover. ; 8vo .
