304 pages. Unopened except from the first and last eight pages. Spanish text clean and unmarked. Very good condition.

The French historian Count Roselly de Lorgues used the example of Columbus to critique Spain and its colonial practices, whilst also emphasising Spain's poor treatment of Columbus. He was one of the writers associated with creating the so-called "Columbian Legend" or 'Spain's disgrace'.
