The copyright page states " Copyright 1926, Charles Scribner's Sons".  259 pp.Original price on jacket is 129/129 In a a very attractive and colorful original dust jacket with a young couple sitting outside a Parisian coffeehouse. Very minor tiny tears to the top edges of the dust jacket otherwise bright, crisp and clean. In clean new Broadart cover. The rear dust jacket flap is a book review from the Chicago Tribune for A FAREWELL TO ARMS. Back cover of dust jacket shows a black and white photograph of Erskine Caldwell and ( in bold  red/black typography) above a description of his novels AMERICA ( Tobacco Road, God's Little Acre, The Tragic Ground and A House in the Uplands. ). This is a Grosset & Dunlap reprint from ca 1948.
