Excellent large history of the Lipizzans at the Spanish Riding School, Piber, and other Lippizan farms "far from Lipizza," including Tempel Farm in Illinois. History of Soviet participation in the equestrian Olympics, published under the auspices of the Union of Sports Organizations of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic. The author, a former cavalry officer, famously co-founded the Izmailovo Equestrian Sports Center in Moscow (1935), which is still active. Scarce; no copies in WorldCat.
