Excellent large history of the Lipizzans at the Spanish Riding School, Piber, and other Lippizan farms "far from Lipizza," including Tempel Farm in Illinois. Still the best book in English; very informative. Large and heavy: shipping/handling may be extra. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Good for a gift!

History of Soviet participation in the equestrian Olympics, published under the auspices of the Union of Sports Organizations of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic. The author, a former cavalry officer, famously co-founded the Izmailovo Equestrian Sports Center in Moscow (1935), which is still active. Scarce; no copies in WorldCat.
