Iggy Pop fans rejoice: a several page article, with photos features prominently in this issue, along with pieces on 999, the Sex Pistols, Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers etc. VERY GOOD with minor toning and light rusting to the staples. Approximately 10 by 7 ½ inches. 130 pp. A single issue of this mystery/crime pulp magazine, featuring the short novel by John D. MacDonald 'Come Die With Me,' as well as work by Ray Cummings, Shad Collins and others. GOOD condition. Heavy chipping, tearing and creasing along the fore edge and bottom edge of the magazine. Minor fading, soiling, toning and creasing to the covers. Interior solid but browned. Pencil check mark on the first page of the MacDonald story.

London: George Routledge and Sons, 1891. Cloth. Good. Blue cloth. 634 pp. Presumed early reprint of this novel (originally published by Kegan Paul). A novel by Scottish author George MacDonald, perhaps best known for his works of fantasy. This book was the third book in a trilogy that began with the book Thomas Wingfold. GOOD condition. Moderate scuffing and fading to the covers. Minor soiling. Cloth rather scuffed, frayed and worn along the extremities. Covers cracked and separated along the interior front hinges. Several ownership signatures present. Text block toned.

Heavy chipping, creasing and tearing along the jacket edges, with some loss. General fading and toning to the jacket. Minor soiling. Rear jacket a bit stained. Lower corner of the rear jacket scuffed, with superficial loss of paper. Minor fading and edgewear to the book. Minor staining/discoloration to the rear cover, with a small faint stain to the upper front. Moderate to heavy toning to the text block.

A single issue of this science fiction magazine, featuring a 'complete novel,' Wine of the Dreamers, by John D. MacDonald, preceding the appearance of his first separately issued novel, (published in October of the same year). Wine of the Dreamers was published in a separate hardcover edition in 1951. Also included in this issue is work by L. Sprague de Camp and Fritz Lieber, among others. GOOD+ condition. Some browning to the wraps, most noticeable along the rear cover. Minor soiling and very light fading. Minor chipping and tearing along the fore edges of the covers, with a slight tear at the lower front edge. Slight loss of wrappers at the head and tail of the spine. Interior clean and solid with moderate browning to the paper.

A single issue of this science fiction magazine featuring a story by John D. MacDonald, 'By the Stars Forgot,' and a novelette by George O. Smith, 'The Death Crystal,' among work by other authords. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading and rubbing to the front wrap. Rear wrapper browned and foxed with several small tears, chips and creases along its fore edge. A few minor tears present along the other extremities. A 2 1/2 inch split present along the lower front wrapper hinge. Interior clean and solid with the text block a bit toned.

A work drawing on oral histories from Inuit elders and historical records, to offer an examination of the Arctic sky from Indigenous perspectives, including constellations, star lore, mythology, sun, moon and planets. VERY GOOD+ condition. Minor edgewear and a hint of toning to the text block.

Blue cloth in unclipped jacket. 294 pp. A work blending fictional embellishments with nonfiction, portraying the life of Stephen Saunders, and his adventures at sea as a captain of a merchant vessel that ran the Atlantic coast from New England to the Gulf of Mexico, recalling encounters with slave traders, storms, shipwrecks and other perils. GOOD jacket on a VERY GOOD book. General fading, minor to moderate scuffing and smudging to the covers. Minor soiling and toning. Small price sticker on the lower front cover. Several small tears along the extremities. Minor fading and edgewear to the book. Old price stamp on the first endpaper.

Evergreen/Grove Press, 1960. First Edition. Wraps. Good. (An Evergreen Original). 1960. Stated first Evergreen printing. This book consists of plays by John O'Hara, Try!Try!; John Ashbery, The Heroes; James Merrill, The Bait; and Lionel Abel, Absalom. A few photos of the plays are interspersed throughout the text. Try! Try! By O'Hara is the story of a young man returning to civilian life after the Korean War. Described as one of the first "beat" dramas. Ashbery's play reworks the myth of Theseus. Merrill's play concerns itself with Jamesian characters and Abel's play retells the famous biblical story in existential terms. In GOOD condition. Moderate soiling to the covers including one noticeable centimeter sized spot at the lower front corner. Uneven sunning/browning around the edges of the front and back cover. Spine sunned and faded. Light scuffing to the extremities. The inner text is clean and well bound with perhaps a bit of fading to the pages.

An account of the authors adventures (and misadventures) motor boating, then yacht sailing, recalling journeys along the British Isles. GOOD condition. Minor soiling, fading and edgewear to the covers. Heavy foxing/spotting to the lower portion of the title page and first endpapers. Minor scattered foxing throughout.

Extremities worn, with several chips and small tears along the edges. Spine browned. Uneven moderate fading and browning along the book extremities. Minor soiling and edgewear. Interior clean and solid.

Stated limited edition. 85 pp., including a tri-fold out section at page 67. LACKING the loose signed print. Color illustrations throughout by Bev Doolittle. Inspired by the Native American concept of the Sacred Circle, this work is a collection of Bev Doolittle's art accompanied by the poems and text of Elise Maclay. Bev Doolittle is a California based artist, known for her images depicting nature and the American West. FINE book in a VERY GOOD+ slipcase. No visible wear to the book. Light wearing away of the gilt on the slipcase. Two small, deep scuffs to the upper edge of the case. A hint of soiling to the rear of the case.

Printed wraps. 32 pp. First issue of this little magazine focusing on literature of the South, including poetry and prose, with work by Norman Macleod, Jewell Miller and others. With a letter from the editor, Addison Hibbard, discussing and criticizing, the overuse of certain characters or themes in Southern writing, including stereotypical portrayals of African-Americans. GOOD condition. Heavy offsetting/darkening along the extremities, with moderate foxing. Some soiling and small areas of staining. Heavy pencil line at the front for edge, with a cursive l at the top left corner. Minor wrinkling and creasing along the extremities.

Macmillan on the title page; but while the signature matches examples seen online, it is lacking the middle initial B. 287 pp. Black and white photos throughout. An account of the travels and explorations of Miriam MacMillan on her first voyage to the Arctic with Donald B. MacMillan With photos of Inuit people, as well as at sea and scenery. Miriam MacMillan was an American photographer and explorer, married to Donald MacMillan who was also an explorer. GOOD condition. Minor fading, toning and soiling to the jacket. Moderate chipping, tearing and creasing along the extremities. Small area of paper lifted off the top right front corner. Moderate uneven fading to the book. Owner's signature on the first endpaper.

No jacket. 175 pp. With black and white photo plates throughout. A thorough look at flying airplanes, considering seaplane flying, types of aircraft, aircraft design details, the use of senses, the art of test flying, etc. With photos of single engine seaplanes, monoplanes, biplanes, triplanes, flying boats, etc. Norman Macmillan was a pilot during World War I, serving in the British Armed Forces and considered an ace by having nine confirmed victories. GOOD condition. Area of dark scuffing/staining/soiling to the front cover, with some dark scuffs to the rear cover. Minor soiling, fading, scuffing and edgewear. Interior solid. Very minor scattered foxing, with a faint dampstain affecting the fore edge of a few pages. One sentence underlined in pencil in the text.
