Description:
Berkeley: University of California, Letters and Science Extension, 1965. First printing. Single legal-size mimeo sheet, presumably distributed to the members of the seminars, with a two-column list of authors and titles. One horizontal fold near bottom, trivial faint creasing at edge, otherwise nearly pristine. A remarkable document from the historic conference (at which Olson gave a reading, delivered Causal Mythology as a lecture, and held these seminars), with exceptional provenance: from the papers of Tram Combs. Poet, publisher, and bookseller Combs, among his many accomplishments, spent many years assembling the first comprehensive collection of postwar Bay Area poets; during the conference, the collection was on display at the University's Bancroft Library, to which it was eventually given. Rare.
