New York: General Prot. Episcopal S. S. Union, 1850. 3rd Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. This book is clean, tight and square with good corners, There are two inscriptions and a date (1884) on the front end papers; otherwise it is unmarked. The 1850 date is the latest publication date on the copies of the various allegories, all of which have their own title pages and publication information. The edges are rubbed. The text block is bright and clear, but there is some foxing. It has a few illustrations. It has a three-quarter binding with black leather on the spine and corners edged with gilt over black pebbled cloth on the boards. The titles on the spine are gold. There are multiple gold bands on the spine and the allegories are individually paginated.
