A marvelous insight into 19th century shipbuilding with a superlative assortment of tremendous fold-out diagrams. Quite scarce in the First Edition. Mild rippling to spine cloth, corners gently rubbed. A lovely, crisp and bright copy.

A Fine copy in a Good only, heavily chipped dustwrapper.

A huge and graphically stunning history of the Great War encased in a fabulous Deco binding without peer. A magnificent and rare item. Some minor wear to extremities, a bit of chipping to spine gutters, minor water staining to lower edges not affecting internal text or illustrations. A Very Good, eye-boggling set.

Widely regarded as one of the most charming fairy books ever produced, this title remains quite elusive and desireable. Rather obvious repairs to spine strip particularly at front hinge which has been coloured in with a green filler. Covers and corners somewhat rubbed with portions of original glassine lacking. Previous owners small name and ink to title page. Despite the hinge work this is still a very bright, crisp, serviceable copy.
