Description:
Color illustrated paper-covered boards. With misspelled title on title page (Cam Fire Girls), no indication of publisher, place, or year, this volume appears to be a cheap bootleg reprint circa 1920, around the same year of the original Whitman printing. Also, there are supposed to be one frontispiece (present) and 4 text illustrations; although the 4 text illustrations are listed with page numbers in the front of the book, two of the drawings are not present, with text only on the indicated pages. Otherwise the story appears to be complete, and binding is intact with no missing pages. Illustrated book advertisement endpapers. Heavy bumping andwear to cronersand spine ends. Some moderate discoloration of half of rear board; light scuffing to boards. Text pages age-browned but clean and unworn.
