New York. E.P. Dutton. 1886. Very handsomely bound in the high Victorian style in multichromatic pictorial gilt decorated cloth with elaborate gilt tooled views to front cover. Gilt titles. Decorated endsheets. a.e.g. Folio (10" x 12.5"). Illustrated throughout with full page engravings after drawings by Harper, Woodward, Fenn, Copeland, et al. And further by elaborate page decorations and motifs. Rear cover presents evidence of water staining and some wrinkling to cloth, although this condition does not affect internals. Several very mild instances of light water staining to gutters of several pages, not affecting text or plates. One signature professionally repaired and trimmed a bit long. A Very Good, crisp, bright copy and a superior example of ornate Art Nouveau book design.

Illustrated throughout with brilliant full page water colour plates depicting various French Military costuming and accouterments and further monochrome drawings en texte. A handsomely printed and illustrated history of military dress and weapons. Usual vertical reading wrinkle to spine. Some mild foxing to bottom edge, else a Fine crisp copy.

A Very Good, bright dustwrapper presenting a short closed tear to spine, several tiny chips to top and bottom edges. Short crease to top of rear panel. Old tape reinforcement on back of jacket.

An extremely crisp and bright, Very Good copy.

There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, and a bedroom- with cabinets to open, windows to look out of, carpets to lay and furniture to arrange. Punched out dolls and doll furniture appear to be complete for all rooms in this copy. A Fine, bright copy in light dustwrapper.

The sketch is on a 4" X 6" card tipped onto the half - title. Donald is seen clenching his fists in a downward movement while vigorously shouting " Who's Mad ? " The drawing is signed in non-cursive " Jack Hannah ". A lovely piece of Disneyana. Very Fine.
