Lavishly illustrated with beautiful color and black and white plates and line drawings. Green cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine, green decorated end papers. red tinted edges. Some edge wear to cover, corners and spine ends bumped, gilt faded a little with slight sunning of spine, spotting, interior pages bright. Some sort of residue on most of the pages, maybe from the publisher, causing the bottom leading corners to stick together. Most come free very easily. No obvious markings or notations in pages.
