Worn corner tips, with denting and wearing to cloth on head and heel of spine. Board corners are dented. Cocks slightly. Boards have scuffs, scratches, with areas of staining/soiling. FFE has year and old price written in pencil. Dime sized sticker of an old defunct bookseller shop in San Francisco. Small piece of paper, used as a book mark, has left a small area of tanning near the bottom of page in gutter. Very minimal amount of writing or notation here and there. In pencil. Pages lightly age toned. Firm binding, extremely readable, very usable. 5"x7.5" . 292 pages, plus index and appendix.

Unsure of year of publication, but venturing a guess, we'd put it at early 1960's. 317 pages.

Design imprinted onto beige cloth wrapped boards. Gilt is faded. Former library book and has former library name stamped on the inside in various places. The old card pocket and date due stickers have been removed, with discard stamps throughout. Cloth of the boards and along spine strip has darkened throughout the decades. Dented and worn corner tips. Worn spine ends. Book cocks. Gold staining on top edge of textblock is faded. Splitting in hinges between paste-downs and FEP. Sewn binding is in good shape. Original red ribbon bookmarker is still in place. 273 pages.

The Gerald Peters Gallery, 2011. Softcover. Good. Good +++. Softcover book published in conjunction with the display of works by contemporary artists at the Gerald Peters Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The exhibition took place between August 5 and October 11, 2011. This catalogue has not been read, the spine is firm and unbroken. Lower corner tip and pages have turned upwards every slightly, with light bumping to the corner tip. The cover also has a very faint pencil mark nearly an inch in length. Unpaginated.

An interesting piece of New Mexico history as by experienced Charles Lummis, a Harvard grad who made his way to the "land of pretty soon," and became immersed in the native culture, going on to coin the term "the Southwest," as it pertains to New Mexico and adjacent state. 236 pages.

Little, Brown and Company, 1976. Softcover. Acceptable. Grading this book as "acceptable" due to glue on binding causing a bit of separation of the cover from front half title page towards the bottom of spine. Due to this, the half title page has come away from binding at lower 1/4 of page. It will completely come away from the binding if not carefully turned. The book falls open between pages 362 and 363 and correlates with spine crease in same location. The pages are still intact, as are the rest of the pages of the book. The pages are clean and unmarked. Outside text block at lower corner edges are smudged and dirty. Covers are lightly scuffed with minor denting of corner tips. Upper corner tip of back cover has diagonal crease and a and horizontal scratch towards bottom of cover. Faint traces of erasure mark of penciled in price by former bookseller. The Lao Association of Fine Arts, 2007. Hardcover. Good. Blue boards, with titling and list of artists represented, in English, French and Laotian. No dust jacket (not sure if printed with one). The type of paper covering the boards is prone to being easily scuffed and scratched, which is the case here, but only to a minor extent. These types of board coverings are also prone to showing dirt and dust really easily, so these covers are a little "smudgy." Gently bumped corner tips. Top board has slight bow to it, so corners lift up so slightly. Clean pages. This delightful art book was published by The Lao Association of Fine Arts, in conjunction with the display of artwork at the Treasures of Asia art gallery.
