The Hague: The Servire Press, 1934. Very Good/Very Good+. 1/1000 from an edition limited to 1,029 copies (of which 29 were signed by James and Lucia Joyce). Book in its original parchment wrapper and stapled cardstock box. This fragment forms pages 219-259 of Finnegans Wake, and was finely printed using an unusually large, round font. Joyce's daughter Lucia designed the ornamental initials before being institutionalized for the remainder of her life.

Natalie Vivian Scott (1890-1957) was a decorated war hero, celebrated journalist, award-winning playwright, historic preservationist, and author of several books on New Orleans regional cuisine and Mexican cooking. The cover art is by New Orleans painter and graphic artist Olive Leonhardt. Very light wear and soiling to the edges of the pictorial wrappers, otherwise fine.
