This stated first edition i clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked in a very good dust jacket. It is very lightly rubbed. The dust jacket is lightly rubbed at the edges and has a few very small chips and a short closed tear. It has 384, bright, clear glossy pages mainly devoted to the predominately black & white photos (although there is a large section of color photos from Life Magazine) bound in brick red cloth covered boards with bright gold titles on the spine and front. It has some ads interspersed. There is a section on the Korean War.

Bruxelles: Lucien De Meyer, 1959. Limited Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked. It is lightly rubbed at the edges. The dust jacket is rubbed at all edges. The boards are covered in gray buckram with no surface titles. This is copy 2651 of a limited edition of 3500. It is profusely illustrated with black and white photos and a color plate of the author.

London: Chappell & Co., 1913. First Thus . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Frank M. Barton. This copy is rubbed at the edge. There is some light surface soil. Green wraps with white titles and an inset drawing by Barton of a young woman in profile. The rear has an advertisement for the latest light opera valses with a single bar of several tunes including "The Girl From Utah Valse".

London: Harrison & Sons, 1942. First Edition First Printing . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This assumed first edition ic lean, tight, square with good corners and internally unmarked, but there is an owner's name stamped on the front wrap and on the title page. It is lightly rubbed. It is profusely illustrated with black & white photos and is bound in red pictorial wraps with black & white titles. There's black cloth on the spine.

New York: Frank Music Corp., 1955. First Thus . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Has some light surface soil and a small name on the front wrap. The wrap is pale blue with black and red titles and a big splash for the movie ("Unchained" by Warner). There's a very large picture of Barbara Hale (of TV's Perry Mason fame) against a white background. There's also a small picture of a young couple kissing (the male stars were Elroy Hirsch -Crazy Legs of the Rams- Chester Morris and Todd Duncan). The rear has a single bar of some the more popular tunes from Pajama Game including "Hey There", "Hernando's Hideaway", and "Steam Heat".

Fitchburg: S. & C. Shepley, 1848. Hardcover. Good-/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. This book is basically, clean, tight, square and internally unmarked, but the are a few, faint pencil names on the front and rear end papers. It is rubbed at the edges and the spine has a tape repair making as if a one-quarter binding. It has 180, clear, lightly foxed pages bound in age darkened paper covered boards with titles and drawings on the front and ads on the rear.

New York: The Platt & Munk Co., 1939. Hardcover. Good+/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Elmer rache. This copy is clean, tight, square and unmarked. There's light bumping/rubbing at the edges most noticeable at the ends of the spine and corners. There is a faint damp stain on the upper corner rear (does not reach any text) shrinking towards the front until it is gone around page 70. Although the dust jacket looks good in its new Brodart cover, it is rubbed at all edges with chips at a lower corner and the base of the spine. The boards are covered in blue cloth with red titles on the spine and front where there is also a red drawing of Uncle Wiggily reading a book.

New York: Charles E, Graham & Co., 1924. Hardcover. Fair/good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Lang Campbell. The book is tight and square. The penultimate page had a closed tear which was repaired with cellophane tape now yellowed. Also a very short such on the last page. Similar tape repairs to the spine edge of several pages. The owner's name section is filled in. Both boards have creases. The color pictures are still brilliant. There is no publication date, the last copyright date is 1924, the publication list lists to Uncle Wiggily Goes Swimming. It has boards covered in red cloth with gray titles on the front above the color paste down.

New York: A. L. Burt, 1922. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book is clean, tight, square and internally unmarked, but there is a 1922, gift inscription on the ffep. It is lightly bumped/rubbed at the edges, there's a very short tape repair to the front hinge and a small chip, fore edge page 59. It has 196, clear pages plus illustrated with color plates bound in green cloth covered boards with red & black titles on the front and spine. There are drawings (Uncle Wiggily) on the front. This title is penultimate in the front list

They are lightly bumped/rubbed at the edges. They have black end paper and 363, 351, bright, clear pages bound in wine colored cloth covered boards with gold titles on the spine.

It is lightly rubbed and a bit age darkened. It has 277, bright, clear pages liberally illustrated with black & white photos from the associated Photoplay movie bound in blue & gray cloth covered boards with drawings and titles on the spine and front.

It has a faint pencil gift inscription and date (1903) on a front end paper; otherwise it is unmarked. It is lightly rubbed at the ends of the spine and the pages are toned, else it is fine. The boards are covered in blue cloth with silver titles on the spine. There is an orange, black and blue drawing of a barefoot boy playing a flute/reading a book on the front and spine.

It has black titles on the front where it is lightly soiled. The spine is open and the edges are rough and worn with some open tears.

This state first edition is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked. It is very lightly rubbed. It has tan, pictorial end papers and 131, bright, clear, glossy pages extensively illustrated with color, photographic, reproductions bound in gray paper covered boards with bright, gold titles on the spine.

France: Dargaud, 1961. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Uderzo. This book is clean, tight and square. There is a name at the top of the front free end paper and at the top of the title page, but is otherwise unmarked. It is lightly bumped at the ends of the spine and upper corners. It has glossy, full color, pictorial boards. We believe this is a later printing (1969). The text is in French and there are 48 pages of cartoons. Ce livre est propre, serré et de la place. Il ya un nom dans le haut de l'extrémité libre du papier avant et en haut de la page de titre, mais est par ailleurs marqué. Il est légèrement émoussés aux extrémités de la colonne vertébrale et des coins supérieur. Il a glacé, en couleur, les conseils picturales. Nous pensons que c'est une impression ultérieure (1969). This second printing is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and internally unmarked, but there is a name and city on the ffep. The owner has tipped in a "Today in Washington" newspaper column by David Lawrence subtitled "Leadersip of the Soul is Perhaps Most Needed Thing in U. S. Today". It is marked in pencil 1941. It is in a dust jacket that is clipped, sunned in places has some edge wear. The book is lightly rubbed at the edges. The boards are covered in dark blue cloth with gold titles on the spine and front where there is also the Harvard veritas logo. It has pictorial end paper (map of the UK) and 305 pages.

U. S. A.: Bonanza, 1956. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked in an equally fine dust jacket in mylar. The dust jacket is clipped. It has 249, bright, clear pages plus appendixes and black & white photos bound in red buckram.
