New York: Random House. Very Good- in Good dust jacket. ©1959. Book Club Edition. Hardcover. 182 p. 21.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth covered boards. Foxed along the edges and text block edges. Faint remains of previous owner's name on the front free endpaper. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket has heavy wear and chipping to the spine ends, less so along the edges and at the corners. Top of spine has been repaired with cell tape. Folds and panels are somewhat rubbed and rear panel shows soil. No price on flap and has BOMC details on front flap. Illustrated with black and white drawings. One of the publisher's Landmark series books for children. Landmark Books No. 89 .
