First US edition. Translation by Robert Erich Wolf of "Bernini architetto" (Electa, 1980), with a catalogue raisonne, including previously unpublished documents by Francesco Quinterio. Large-format volume, measuring approximately 10.25" x 11.5", is bound in black cloth, with stamped white lettering to spine and front cover. Book is new. Dust jacket displays very light shelfwear, with small closed tear at top spine edge. Lavishly illustrated with numerous full-page b&w and color illustrations, as well as a large number of in-text illustrations. Text appears in double columns. Preserved in black cardboard slipcase. 378 pages.
