Macmillan, 1984. First Edition . Cloth. Fine/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Very large, very heavy book, dark red cloth, very bright gilt lettering on spine, rose color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 600 heavy glossy pages, nearly 2000 color illustrations of animals with information including common name, scientific name, geographical distribution and more. Stunning color plates on right-hand pages, scientific data on left side. Extra postage is likely to be needed. DJ glossy red, four color-illustrations at center front. DJ has light wear to front tips, light crease at top front, light wear at spine top left and right corners, nick at top back edge with tiny tear, tiny tear with slight wear at top back edge, 1.25" tear with creases and slight wear at bottom back tip. Good DJ/Fine book.
