Unit history of RAF Squadron 39 established in 1916 with BE-2s for Zeppelin defence, active through WW II, and disbanded at Wyton in 1982 as a Canberra squadron. The book includes first-hand accounts from former squadron members, and is illustrated with many previously unpublished photographs, and maps. Author was a Canberra navigator with 39 Squadron. Appendix includes detailed statistics of the unit's history. Shelf wear to dust jacket. Dust jacket is price clipped. 204 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
