Book condition: Good, clean green boards, tight binding, no inscriptions, some bumping/rubbing to boards. Jacket condition: Fair, mainly clean, odd small edge stain, some fade to spine, creasing and rubbing to covers(see photo), price-clipped, green stain to inner face of jacket. Plates/text not affected. Comments: An excellent collection of Basil Ede's work showing British birds in large format; in total 70 plates included.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. - Fair
- is a worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack endpapers, half-title, etc....
- Spine
- The outer portion of a book which covers the actual binding. The spine usually faces outward when a book is placed on a shelf....
- Tight
- Used to mean that the binding of a book has not been overly loosened by frequent use.
