About This Item

Ecco, 2007. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good DJ. First printing, very good + hardcover shows couple of small wrinkles and tiny closed tear at rear paste down, circular blind stamps at title and half title pages, along with some other very light trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows closed tear and light wrinkle at top edge of front panel, just a touch of exposure toning along spine and some other very minor shelf wear. 891 pages with a couple of sets of black & white plates. Still a pleasing copy of this "..magisterial account of India's rebirth and the work of a major scholar at the height of his powers
