(1st, A-12.71[U]) Large, heavy book, dark blue cloth with ornate gilt symbol with Arabic lettering at center front very fine, gilt lettering near fine on spine with bright blue design, dark bue inside covers and adjacent end papers, 299 lightly browned pages, three photo sections. (16th Century Ottoman Empire architect, slave and soldier) DJ beneath mylar has color photo-illustration on front of beautiful mosque, three small b/w photos on back. DJ has light thin crease near top front edge, spine top very slightly rubbed, slight wear to spine edges, light black line down back spine indentation, owner's stamp at bottom of pages' edge. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
