Barbara Goette accepts an offer to join global tycoon Ludwig Roselius [The Lion] and work for a HAG conglomerate. She soon rises to be his closest collaborator. Roselius had angered Hitler by not giving him donations and this was not forgotten by Hitler. Barbara saves Roselius' life by appealing to Hitler during a chance meeting in Berlin but Roselius dies in 1943 and Barbara is "cut loose" in wartime Germany. She barely survived the war and married the author in 1945. They emigrated to Australia in 1950. . 1st Edition. Softcover.
