After the independence of India from England and the dividing of the nation into both modern India and Pakistan, a farmer and Sikh is working when a Muslim woman throws herself at his feet. Upon seeing the man who owns her, the farmer realizes he must purchase the young woman as his wife in order to save her from torture and abuse.
Set in India.
Orange titled wrappers. Title page present, with credits for screenwriter Steven Rossen, and producer Dan Alvy. 50 leaves, with last leaf of text numbered 49. Xerographic duplication, first generation photocopy, with no copied holes. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with three silver brads.
