The publisher's about -the-author blurb tells us that Samuel Shellabarger, in addition to being a compelling storyteller is a noted scholar and, for a number of years was a member of the faculty of Princeton University. His novels of historical fiction are stirring adventures, but authentic. This novel was the basis for the 1949 film starring Tyrone Power and Orson Welles.
Synopsis
Prince of Foxes is a novel of historical fiction by Samuel Shellabarger, following the adventures of the fictional Andrea Orsini, a captain in the service of Cesare Borgia during his conquest of the Romagna.
