About This Item

Garden City: Doubleday & Company, Inc, 1983. First edition. Hardcover. 237pp. Quarto [30 cm] Tan cloth over boards with a gilt stamped title on the backstrip, and an embossed title on the front board. Very good. The covers are slightly cocked, and there is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endsheet. In a very good, price-clipped dust jacket. There are numerous light scratches on the surface, and there are a handful short chips and closed tears in the edges. With a selection of 100 color and 111 duotone photographs produced during Witney's three-year odyssey through America's western ranch lands.
