About This Item

Doubleday, 1998. Signed Limited Numbered. Hardcover. Book in Fine+ condition/Slipcase in Near Fine condition with just a touch of wear to the lower corner. Book in Fine+ condition, slipcase in Near Fine condition with just a touch of rubbing to the lower corners. A deluxe Limited Numbered First Edition signed by the author on the limitation page and numbered 1 out of 300 copies. Please note that the number displayed in the accompanying photos are from a different but identical copy. In navy blue leather with speckled page edges, marbled endpapers, bound-in ribbon bookmark, the book is in fine unread condition. The matching cloth slipcase is in Near Fine condition, still protected by the original shrinkwrap which was slit to the front bottom edge to slide the book out to authenticate the signature and number. A beautiful copy and our personal favorite of John Grisham's books.

It's become a challenge to find this limited edition of "The Street Lawyer" still in the publisher's wrap.

John Grisham stands as a formidable force in the publishing industry, boasting an impressive record of 37 consecutive #1 bestsellers and a staggering global sales figure exceeding 300 million copies. Within the realm of collectors, Grisham's signatures have evolved into a sought-after niche. However, navigating the collecting landscape poses challenges, particularly with the proliferation of fraudulent signatures. The limited Grisham editions we carry offer collectors a sense of security, as the signatures are inherently resistant to fraud-directly penned by the author and authenticated by the publisher. Beyond their authenticity, these editions cater to collectors' aesthetic preferences. Crafted with the collector in mind, the books feature carefully considered elements such as size, leather binding, tactile feel, and a protective slipcase. This deliberate design provides collectors with the opportunity to cultivate a cohesive aesthetic for their Grisham library.
