Rebecca Goodale: "Two rare moths in Maine that share the same habitat are winged adults during different months, so even though they live together they are never seen at the same time." From Goodale's Threatened and Endangered Exhibit, this book focuses on two threatened Maine moths that share a common habitat but mature in different months. Goodale uses a magic wallet form which unites the twilight moth, April, and zanclognatha, July, in a pitch pine / scrub oak barren setting. Using this format restricts the viewer to see both moths simultaneously but these two species are adults in different seasons so one would not see them in the same view.

Image is 14 3/4 inches by 9 inches on a sheet that is 21 inches by 14 1/2 inches. This print from Gould's magnum opus on European birds is unusual in that it displays the hanging pear-shaped nest that is the basis for the bird's common name.
