This is a very rare first edition of the Carter Dickson Red Badge Mystery done in conjunction with John Rhode.  Though this copy has trauma to the spine, its rarity makes it still collectible, in lieu of better copies.

This is a rough copy of the uncommon 1851 edition, the fourth, in which the publisher apologizes for the many errors on biographical and other background information in the earlier editions, basically blaming almost everything on Rufus W. Griswold. Griswold, a highly flawed editor by many accounts, and who was Edgar Allan Poe's secret nemesis, apparenty deserved the blame, and much more---but that's for another book. This is a reading copy of the early anthology of 79 well deserving poets.  The good news is that the book is complete, with even the rear cover still attached.

This is a servicable copy of Millar's creepy mystery, with a little wear, but all here.  In addition to her own awards won, she was married to Ross McDonald, one of the great detective novelists of is day.

This lightly flawed, first edition copy is of much interest not only due to McIntyre's jaunty description of the newsreel industry in the heat of the battle for the Mediterraean in 1943, but also for its connection to the Schindler familly, the Cairo branch being the publishers of this New Zealander's war correspondence.  Also the only copy offered from the United States.

This is a rare, excellent copy of the 1953-54 yearbook of the occupying Marines in 1950s Japan. The War had not been over long, and enthusiasm for the tasks that remained is visible in these pages, augmented by thousands of photos. Some slight rubbing on corners, but overall excellent condition, with impressive embossent on front cover of the Pacific Rim.

This is an excellent NEAR FINE, SIGNED copy of Owen's ongoing adventures of Mordecai Jones, the Flim-Flam Man, made famous in the movies by George C. Scott.  Along with Andy Griffith, these tales stand as razor-sharp North Carolina comedy, set in the pathos of the sleepy countryside.

This is a nice copy of the venerable Flora MacDonald College Calendar for 1924.  It contains many priceless black/white photos of the school, grounds, and student body.  Anyone with ties to the school would love this affordable vintage item.

This would be a "very good" copy of one of Anais Nin's lesser known works.  Alas, someone allowed the book to touch water along its lower extremities, causing a line of stained area.  On the  bright side, it is a lot less costly than it would have been for Nin enthusiasts.
