Philadelphia: Printed by Hall and Sellers, 1791. Second printing. Leather Bound. Very Good +. 4 x 6 inches. 12mo. Collates as a - c (6 leaf quires) + A - Uu (6 leaf quires). a1 (title page) in facsimile. A few leaves of Selections from Psalms and Psalter (Q3-Q4 and Aa2-Aa5) lacking. Printed in two column Roman type. A few other pages (B1, B2, K4, P6, Dd5, Ee5, and Uu6) with small losses. F3 with closed tear to inner margin. Scattered stains. The Psalter has a separate title page with a continuous register. Endpapers renewed. Old ownership inscription of Sarah Percival. Griffiths 1791/18. Bound full straight grained modern calf with red spine label containing gilt title and date. A very good copy of this scarce printing of the American BCP. It is the second printing of the BCP in America, and one of only two editions before the addition of the Ordinal in 1792.
