About the author

The late Grant L. Maxwell (D. Mus., Edmonton, Alberta), Professor of Music, Alberta College Conservatory of Music, was also a concert pianist who promoted and instilled interest in music for multiple pianists in Canada, founding a group called PIANoMANIA (four pianists), now renamed PIANoRAMA (five pianists). He has received many Canadian scholarships and awards.
