New York: Random House, 1952. First edition. Hardcover. Good/very good. 334pp. Octavo [22 cm] 1/2 gray cloth with black paper over boards. The front hinge is broken, and the text block has partially pulled away from the spine. The front cover has some areas of abrasion. There is a previous owner's bookplate (Austin P. Haller, M.D.) on the front pastedown. In a dust jacket, with mild rubbing and chipping to the edges, and darkening to the reverse (not visible on the recto). Stories never before published in an anthology.
