Christopher Skelton. Wellingborough. 1987. LIMITED EDITION. Large 8vo. (10.4 x 6.6 inches). One of 500 numbered copies, from a total edition of 550. This copy also has the extra suite of plates, printed on Nonesuch Press water-marked paper, that was issued with the 50 delux copies, although they are loose and not in the original paper wallet. --- 16pp of text and 27 pages reproducing Gill's hand drawn alphabet, plus index and title pages (i and j occupy one page), originally drawn in 1926. A fine and fresh copy in the Publishers half red cloth with gilt lettering to spine and decorative colour printed paper to the boards, by Woolnough Fine binding. In the original plain black slip case. Fine. As well as the extra suite of plates, this copy has the 4 leaves of A4 paper prospectus loosely inserted.
