Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1879. Cloth. Very Good. Brown cloth. 385 pp. Two photo plates present. A collection of essays discussing travel, artists, England, sightseeing, etc. With two photographs of statues. Thomas Appleton was an author and sometime artist, although more of a patron to the arts. He was good friends with Henry Longfellow. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading and scuffing to the covers. Corners and spine tips worn. Light toning to the text block.
