New York: William Morrow and Co, 1942. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Very Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($2.00), generally rubbed and worn, tape repairs near the spine-fold of the front panel, some on the verso as well. Orange buckram, bumped at the corners, with black ink lettering and designs on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, bookplate inside the front board, clean otherwise. The fifth Basil Willing mystery, this one centering on an on-stage murder during the opening night of a theater performance.
