Good in a Good jacket, clipped, rubbed and bumped at the edges, some fraying and chips, stain from old tape at the head of the spine. White cloth, toned at the edges, some stains on the boards. Square and firmly bound with a mottled blue topstain, clean internally. Wolfe's classic work of New Journalism centering on Ken Kesey, the Merry Pranksters, and the titular Acid Tests of the late 1960s.
Synopsis
Are you on the bus? Tom Wolfe took a tour with Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters as they departed California and made their way across the country in a day-glo painted bus full of LSD and enthusiasm in the summer of 1964.
