London: for the Editors By T. Chapman, (editor) and Chapman & Co, Booksellers, 1793. Octavo. Engraved title page and seven engraved portraits, 304pp, (4)pp index, bound in 3/4 calf over marbled paper covered boards, raised bands, brown spine label gilt. Contains monthly magazine for the year 1793 [July]-December plus supplement. A periodical which ran until 1812 0r 1813 as this title. Later became Evangelical magazine and Missionary Chronicle. [July] issue begins with Preface and dedication, each issue & supplement includes a biographical sketch and engraved portrait, usually of the person who the biography was about, also includes reviews of religious publications, obituaries, and poetry. Internally clean, upper joint cracked and holding by thread.
