About This Item
London: Eagle Films, 1971. Collection of six vintage reference photographs from the 1971 British documentary film, including one photograph showing director Tony Klinger with a camera, surrounded by nude sunbathers on a beach. Five photographs with printed mimeo snipes affixed to the verso.
From the archive of film historian and author Joel Finler.
An exploration of 1970s British counterculture, capturing heroin addicts, gay lovers in Piccadilly Circus, Hell's Angels, nude sunbathers, student protesters, mods, rudeboys, and more. Klinger would go on to produce "The Kids Are All Right," a 1979 documentary about The Who.
Shot on location in London and the Isle of Wight.
9.5 x 7.5 inches. Very Good plus, with a slight curl.
