Embossed stamp of gifting owner at lower leading corner of front free endpaper: "Library of Harlan Ellison." Inscription with signature on title page from Ellison to recipient, long-time friend and fellow author Joe Hensley: "A Gift to Joe from his pal, Harlan Ellison 19 Feb 87." Red textured paper on board. Gold lettering on spine. White endpapers. Minor shelf wear to lower edges of boards and heel of spine. Small bumps to leading lower tips of both boards. Curved crease across spine 1 inch below crown. Text block square and tight. Interior pristine. Dust jacket now in archival protective cover. Author's second book.

Village Lights Bookstore opened as a brick-and-mortar shop in 2008. We are a "mom & pop" business, and we live in the same building. We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, the American Booksellers Association, and the Great Lakes Independent Booksellers Association. We offer a modest, but diverse, selection of rare, collectible, and antiquarian items, as well as select higher quality new books. We carefully grade our books in accordance with IOBA Book Condition Definitions (https://www.ioba.org/conditions-definitions), describe them using standard ABAA terminology (https://www.abaa.org/glossary), and painstakingly package them to prevent damage in transit.
