Moore; + engraved chapter headings and tail pieces.The contents clean and tight with presentation inscription signed by Mary Fox to verso of the front end paper. Re cased in the original blind stamped cloth with the spine relayed. Gilt title to upper board, the binding clean and tight the rear end paper replaced.Lady Mary Fox, was the illegitimate daughter of William IV & wife of the soldier and politician Charles Richard Fox. The text is in the form of letters written between Chateauneuf and his client (H.B.) regarding the design for a country residence.
