About This Item
New York, NY.: Harcourt, Brace & World, Inc.. Very Good. 1959. Hardcover in dust jacket. (1959 on the copyright page, but with the code F.6.66 on the copyright page.) This book is hard-bound in green cloth, with black stamping to the spine, in a nice dust jacket with light soiling, light toning to the edges, and edge-wear. The covers show some very light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean, with illustrations. This book is signed/inscribed by the author, Carol Kendall on the front free end-page. This book is notable for the fact that it uses the term Muggles, which became the focus of a lawsuit later on. Scarce signed copy. .
