Another collection of verse from Hawaii's favorite poet, in 159 pages with pen-and-ink drawings by the author throughout, along with a drawing & facsimile signature & inscription on very last page. This copy is also SIGNED by the Author (NOT a facsimile) with a personalized inscription dated 1950 on dedication page. A FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1950, this hardcover octavo has orange cloth-covered boards stamped with a gilt design to front & lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: completely clean, binding strong & straight, pages modestly tanned but completely unmarked. Slight spine fading & bumping to lower outer corners/heel of spine.
