Catalog of feature films, for rental and sale. 72 pages : illustrated with black and white photographs, with rental and sale prices, running times, and order numbers. The catalog Near Fine, lightly rubbed. Together with 5 pamphlets: a 6 page 4to pamphlet "Announcing Grove Presss International Film Festival" Very Good, caption at top of page 6 cut out and clipped to front cover; 4 page 4to pamphlet for the film "Darkness. Darkness": 2 single sheets 8 1/2" x 11" announcing release of new films "Malcolm X Speaks" and Yukio Mishima's Film "Rite of Love and Death (Yukoku)": and 10" x 17" bi-fold sheet announcing "Three Films by Les Blank; A Well Spent Life, Spend It All, and The Blues Accordin' to Lightnin' Hopkins". The latter 3 pamphlets all Fine. "By the early 1970s, the Grove Press Film Division catalog included over four hundred domestic and international short and feature films, documentaries, experimental films, animations, and classic Charlie Chaplin and Georges Méliès films." (Syracuse Univ.) A unique collection of Grove Press Film Division material and a Catalog rarely seen in today's market. . First Edition. Stapled Wrappers.
