K Edgeworth on front free endpaper together with a copy of an 8pp pamphlet that he published in Dublin at around the same time as this book. In the pamphlet, Edgeworth makes reference to the research done in Australia which killed the blight in the seed by heating it (p.6). 8vo, 215pp, 12 ills in text, 50 photographic plates, folding map of rainfall and isohyets map of Victoria. Original brown boards, gilt title, corners bumped o/w very good condition. Pamphlet published in Dublin, Browne, and Nolan, Limited, nd, (ca. 1911), 8pp, orig. printed pale green wrappers, slt. foxed. McAlpine book = Libraries Australia ID 2534257; no record of the Edgeworth pamphlet on Trove.
