Undated volume in the Blackie's 'Famous Books' series, with stories featuring Perseus, Jason and the Argonauts and Theseus, first published in 1856 by Charles Kingsley (1819-1875). 208pp illustrated with colour drawing to frontis and a black and white map. Blind-stamped design to top board and spine with gilt lettering to spine. Slight bumping to spine and corners, dust marking to edges and remnant of bookplate to endpaper, otherwise good copy.
