London: W P Griffith, 1903 new edition. xx and 349 pages. 8 colour plates of uniform, portrait of Colonel Unett. A fine copy in the publisher's tan calf, spine fully gilt, all edges gilt. A reissue of Kauntze's history first published in 1857 and brought up to date by the addition of 75 pages taken from the regiment's digest of services. The colour plates are new to this edition.
