London: Printed by W. Gilbert, 1810. Hardcover, [xvi], 224 pages, plus a 12-page catalogue of "Established School Books." Fair condition. Size 7"x4.25". Leather casing is heavily rubbed, and scuffed on extremities. Spine is replaced with cloth tape. Bookseller's and previous owner's (org) stamps & label on front endpapers. Three quarters of Plate I (frontispiece - Map of the Heavens) is missing, the remaining three plates are present. Text is rippled from aging/storage. Two leaves have closed tears, one signature is starting, and several places in the text have foxing or stains from pressed flowers.. Fair.

Half black morocco over marbled paper. Some wear along edges. Gilt particulars and decorations to spine. Small bookplate of Luis Bardon to front pastedown. Occasional foxing throughout.
