The dust jacket on v. 1 has tears and some chipping, all are a bit darkened on the spine and the front inner hinge of v. 1 has been repaired carefully. Vol. 1 1670-1763. Vol. 2 1763-1820. Vol. 3 1821-1870. Foreword by Winston S. Churchill. Locale: Western Canada. (Western Canada, Fur Trade, Hudson's Bay Company).
