The photographs of Robert Capa ; Trade PB; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 175 pages; The amazing photos of the military photographer, Robert Capa who covered the Spanish Civil War, the Sino Japanese War, many aspects of WWII, and the 1st Indochina War in 1954 where he lost his life when he stepped on a landmine, doing what he loved. Introduction by his friend John Steinbeck, most of the commentary by Capa. He was born in Hungary but later adopted the US as his home, taking a new name in the process. He may have died at the age of 40 but will be remembered so long as his photographs exist. .
