'Das Kloster' is a 19th-century collection of tales and stories compiled by Johann Scheible. These books are some of the most popular books of occult texts, folklore, fairy tales, superstitions, and famous legends, including the tale of Faust!
This volume, published in 1847, includes F. Nork's 'Der Festkalender'. Nork, pseudonym of Friedrich Korn, was an early 19th-century German author, who wrote a treatise on how the modern liturgical calendar developed out of pagan ceremonies and rituals. This volume includes impressive, full-page engravings depicting rituals, prayers, angels, and Catholic icons.
